My S4's been using a lot of fuel recently. Checked the codes and blinked up 2413 whch is mixture adaptation limit exceeded. I also noticed that the reading of the G62 temp sensor is 8-10 degrees C lower than the temp guage. Is this the problem or is it more likely O2 sensor or MAF??

a vacuum leak. So you can draw your own conclusions from that, I would be looking at the MAF first and O2 sensor second I think, but just a guess...

Thanks Dave for the welcome! That makes interesting reading. Think I'll try the G62 first. MAF is cleaned regularly and the O2 sensor isn't much more than a year old.

put my MAF back in and 10 miles later got 1 stumble under acceleration 5th gear at 65mph, code came back.
I assume its the MAF, at least in my case
mileage was down and so was power, (also have bad t-stat at the moment)
