I have to disagree its what kills our cars, yes they are no quarter mile monsters but if you have half a brain and decent driving skills and a decent clutch (100+k on my stock clutch) and it will take a decent launch, Most drivers on the street cant launch worth (rwd fwd) a dam especially a stoplight race were no one is going to spin up their tires (be it they have drag radials slicks).
I will agree these cars go like raped ape in 4th ive ran a couple 11 second cars from a 65 roll messing around on the highway and pull on them decently. and im still mtm1+ stromung catless

a simple intake can give them an extra 8-10hp. I don't know how, but that's what that engine is known for.
