The rubber on mine has rotted. I priced OEM at a couple of online sources. $119 at genuineaudiparts.com. The base on mine is fine. Does anybody know if it's a 5mm thread? I've STFA looking for any reference to a Passat mast that will fit. I also think that if it's 5mm, a Honda S2000 mast will also fit. Any ideas? Thanks.

If it's the same as a VW Jetta, I have heard of them using the Honda or Hummer antenna

We had a MkIV Jetta GLI, and a B5 W8 Avant and as I recall the antenna masts had different thread sizes. I have a stubby, left over from one of those cars(unsure of which} on the S6 now. I guess that I could buy an OEM full length mast for each of those cars and return one, but I want to avoid that.

They don't have an OEM length. Still about a foot long.
