Default Serp. Belt tensioner: There a way to replace the bearing in the pulley w/o buying the whole ***.?

I'd love to find a replacement bearing if s/one has done it before and can share the info. If not, then is AutoHauz the cheapest source for the assembly?

Part number is 054 903 133, though the pulley itself is the bad part, obviously. Squeaky, squeaky...

Thanks,

Default I've done this on other cars. Get the part number off the bearing and source it separately

Go to an industrial bearing supply shop and they should be able to get the same bearing or equivalent. Then just press out the old and press in the new bearing.

I did mine, but you have to use a high temp bearing, I'm pretty sure you can search the archives

Default Its a high temp "SNR" bearing. Search Forums (Original S-cars) with "serpentine bearing"

and you will find a few of Skollie's posts on the subject.
