I've been following the market, and I figure you could import a nicer one yourslef for a good bit less money. It's just not a $37k car. Actually I think he's lowered the price and will now take $35k... he's coming down off his high. Besides that, I hate full leather, and the BMW Individual colors are usually crap!
That guy supposedly bought the car for $25k, and did nothing but put miles on it.
I'd rather own the one below (US spec 3.8 sedan) with 22k original miles on it for $27k (seller has lowered his price).

I guess it all comes down to what you are looking for. I'm just waiting for the winning lottery ticket and I would buy this one.

http://www.roadfly.com/bmw/classifieds/cars/detview.php?view=42154&sortby=&dir=</a

US never got the 3.8 M5 only europe. There were very few 93's which had a much nicer interior than the more common 91's. I think the price is just based on the really low miles and condition. My friend bought his Euro 3.8 M5 for 25k from a guy from the airforce who had it federalized, even has an EPA exemption letter woot!
