Are slotted rear rotors worth it?

ECS tuning has their rear brake rotors for $100, "X" brand for $60, and ECS slotted for $150.
Is the $40 extra for ECS tuning rotor over "X" brand worth it? Thoughts? The rear doesn't do much braking... will slotted even make a difference?
Thanks,
Mike.

... I think you're right that the rear doesn't help out that much, but when I priced out my Zimmerman cross-drilled and Mintex pads vs. the OEM rotors from a dealer, I was able to the the whole brake job plus Steel braided lines for less money. I never bothered to calculate the price difference for just doing cross-drilleds on the front, but I don't think I would have saved much with standard OEM on the rear. Besides which, it just wouldn't look right. 8)
Call me strange, but I have this need for symmetry when it comes to stuff like that. I'd recommend that whichever brand/type rotor you choose for the front, you put the same brand/type on the rear.

i could not tell a major difference even having upgraded the pads to redboxes. i suppose the matched look to front could justify a little extra but truly didn't notice better braking
