I'd like to get one from BIRA...
I've been eyeing the System 3 and new System 5. On the fitment page the System 5 actually fits under 16" wheels. I'll probably go with that... I'd really like to get two-piece rotors.
Appearently one can also get two-piece rotors with the System 3 design.
A8 on the left, 2 piece replirotor on the right...

<A HREF="http://www.bira.org/press/plus.html">Click</A>
Badass, eh? Two piece will eliminate most warping worries.
Anyways... anyone have experience with the System 5 or the replirotors? How much do these systems cost? Once I join can I just buy a kit? How does that work?
Thanks,
Mike

AFIK then only sell you the brackets and you have to get the rest of the parts from another company. Have you checked out ECS's Stage III?<ul><li><a href="http://www.ecstuning.com/stage/edpd/pagebuild_v2.cgi?make=Audi&engine=20v%20T& model=C4%20S4&submodel=Quattro&category=Br aking&subcategory=ECS%20Stage%203">http://www.ecstuning.com/stage/edpd/pagebuild_v2.cgi?make=

I'm afraid it wont fit.
The system 5 is the same thing?
BIRA: "System 5
Uses the Porsche 993 Turbo (Big Red) 4-piston caliper over the Porsche 993tt/GT-3 322x32mm rotor ring using the RS2 front caliper mounting brackets. Requires custom (BIRA-supplied) rotor hat. This solution fits the '92-97 S4/S6 only."
I guess it is... but ECS says 17" wheels are required.
Here's what BIRA said about fitment:
"System 5 for the UrS (1992-97 S4/S6)
Tested and Acceptable:
Standard 16" Avus wheels, Speedline SL 748, 7-1/2 J x 16 H2 ET 37, 895601025M. "Room to spare." "
I've got 16" A8 et45 wheels with 10 mm spacers... to ET35.
Think they'll fit?
Thanks,
Mike

once I get back from Europe. Hopefully I won't be shooting myself in the foot, and it will actually fit. I'd love that...

valve cover gasket, and full gasket set for the EM and turbo.
This way I'll have to spend less once I get a turbo and other toys. Maybe I can get the 7A exhaust cam in before the end of the summer now that I'll have the valve cover gasket.

The BIRA group is based around group buys. They make the brackets, and you're responsible for the other hardware. Since they need a certain number of people to jump on board before they can make the brackets, there's ALWAYS a big waiting period. The System 3 buy just finished up a few months ago, so that's not going to be done again for quite a while. Not sure about the System 5.
Also, make sure you're looking at the Euro A8 rotor and not just the A8 rotor. They're different. The one you'd need for the System 3 is 314x30mm.
I'd suggest emailing the BIRA guys and asking when the next production run starts or if they have extra parts from the last one. If all else fails you can always use the 993 big reds with the RS2 bracket, but you'll have to get a custom rotor hat made somewhere.
