Why did you choose 3040 RPM as a reference point for the CBD and CBM and 2950 for the CRB?
Nevermind - I see you were working "backwards" to get the equivalent rpm based on the same speed in the top gear.

"arguement". Basically at 75 mph with stock diameter tires, the engine should be turning about 3000 RPM plus or minus 50 RPM, depending on the "C" series transmission.
I can also easily change the wheel and tire size and see the effect on speed and RPM, if any.

I'm not trying to argue, just curious. I was wrong when I first stated my revs were lower in 6th then 5th, it musta been a preconceived idea just from driving the two cars at different times.
