SS brake hoses
i just bought a set and was wondering if there's anything i should be aware of when doing this?
i'm sure some of you have already did this, how much of a PITA is it?
thanks in advance!

Use a propane torch to heat the old brake line fitting before trying to loosen the nut
Apply heat directly to the fitting on the old rubber brake hose and try not to heat the nut on the hard line too much. This will cause the fitting to expand and make the tube nut very easy to break loose and greatly reduce the chance that you will round off the 11mm nut that must be reused on the hard brake line.
Be sure to wear safety glasses when heating the brake hose fitting. Even if you remove the hose from the brake caliper first the line can still burst from the pressure built up by the heat. It is actually a good measure of when you have enough heat into the fitting to try loosening it. When the hose bursts you for sure have enough heat. The bursting hose isn't too dangerous, but you don't want any rubber pieces or boiling brake fluid in your eyes.
Don't even try loosening the tube nut with out heat unless you always want to tighten your brake fittings with a pair of vice grips because the tub nut is rounded off.

use line wrenches and plenty of PB Blaster
also remember to check the stainless lines every 6 months or so...they are a wear item. these were my rears after 1 year (results not typical):

Like the other two have said...
...you'e gonna need lines that have a male end. I think that our *rear* calipers have a female fitting in them as well, so you'll need a male end for those ones, too.
