Thought I'd post these. My father recently had the left steering rack bracket mount replaced on his '93 as it had cracked. The replacement parts don't look that much more substantial than the origional.
The guys at Shine Racing in Walpole, MA, did a superb job installing the bracket.
any hope this helps anyone needing to do the same.

When i was shopping for my car, i drove a '93 S4. The owner told me that it is common for the steering rack mounts to bend and/or break. I never heard such a thing, and haven't since. I figured if anyone would have problems it would be you guys who race your cars.
