Default Stinky oil problems??

Well, after the car has been working great for the first month I have owned it. I'm starting to notice certain problems. First, a pshhhhht pshhhhht pshhhhht pshhhhht sound when I shift. People asked me if a a bov! I replaced the stock bpv with the bosch 710N unit and that solved my problem. However, during idle, I smell oil. I checked the oil and looks like it's not burning anything. My friend was driving behind me and said I'm blowing some smoke when the car is being pushed hard. I did a search and came up with an intake lake, checked the hoses and they look fine. Is the turbo cooked? Any other ideas

Default check the steering rack for leaks, i've mistaken a leaky rack for oil before...

also check the VC gasket, especially around the back of the motor. the smoke that your friend sees out of the back of the car is it black or blue(white)? if black it's not oil. if it's white, then you've got oil getting into the exhuast.

Default Maybe a small boost leak? When I was hunting mine down the car was burning oil.

As soon as I pressure tested it and found the leak the oil leak stopped instantly.

Default perhaps that smoke was from burning fuel? was it black or blue

seems like some puffs of dark smoke are normal when pushing car hard

Mine wasn't really smoking much, but it was consuming lots of oil with the boost leak.

Default Check the oil pressure sender "sensor" under the intake manifold. You have to pull the rubber..

boot to see if it's leaking.
