I've noticed lately a "fluttering" at 19-20 psi. my initial thought was a small boost leak but now i'm not sure. Ambeint temps were down here last night so I topped the fuel off w/ 5 gal sonoco 100 octane. went out to see if I could get WOT. here's what I found. easing the car into WOT, like you'd do on reg pump gas, the fluttering was pronounced, but I could back off and get right back on it and still get 22-23 psi. However, the boost gauge would show the boost dropping but the car would still pull hard; but mabey a little low on power. I could downshift into either 3rd or 4th and floor it and achieve 24 psi; but would somtimes flutter right before peak boost then recover quickly. and sometimes...like this morning, I could floor it, no flutter just 24ps1 and no dropping on the gauge. having load on the motor(going uphill or down) seems to have no effect; and nether does misting the inter cooler.
clogged injector? WG dia.? have yet to pull codes, but will later today.

I think you have to figure that out first.

Have you checked for leaks?

Had a similar problem. When I replaced the bpv for the 710N i noticed that the little vaccum hose that connects to the bpv and the itake was in rough shape. Replaced it, ($32 per meter) at the dealer, problem fixed. I hope this is similar to your problem
