Stromung turbo back exhaust system on ebay
FYI Stromung exhaust on Ebay ends in a couple hours currently a little over $900.

I offered to buy it...
and he emails me back "Item is on ebay for new, lower price." I check ebay and buy it now is 1150, unless I made a serious mathematical error, that's an increase of 150 dollars. I won't be bidding on principal, not that I would trust him to honor the auction anyway.

That's an understatement.
I think for $1285 I'd just get a brand new one.
There have been 4 generations, and you definately want the latest for best quality sound and fitment. The one on the eBay auction looks like a Gen 4, but I can't be 100% sure.

Sometimes I wish mine was louder but then I think of how nice it is to take long drives and not have the drone. And it does sound MEAN to other cars. I drove my buddy's 16v-swapped cabby while he drove my car so I could get the 3rd person view of my ride
