Based on the formula that HP requirements varies with the cube of the velocity (as per Dave's post), then using the following baselines:
Stock: 150 mph for 227 HP
RS2: x mph for 370 HP
x^3 = (370 * 150^3) / 227
x = 177 mph
This of course assumes that 370 HP is correct and that you have a road long enough!
177 mph is 7200 rpm in 5th gear with stock tires.<ul><li><a href="https://forums.audiworld.com/s4s6/msgs/89185.phtml">https://forums.audiworld.com/s4s6/msgs/89185.phtml</a</li></ul>

the cube of the velocity, the RPM's are only increasing in direct proportion to velocity. What is worse, the horsepower being produced starts to drop off after the peak hp is reached (somewhere near but above 5900 RPM). You can go faster than the RPM that the peak hp is generated at but ONLY if the hp requirements are less than that being produced. At some point the hp required curve (exponential going up with RPM) and the hp being produced curve (which drops after peak hp RPM) cross. At that point, you have reached the maximum speed for that vehicle on that day (air temp, density, humidity, temperature, wind, etc.)

the frontal area (the area the wind sees, or the area the car drills through the stationary air to be more correct). This would allow the calculation of the horsepower needed to overcome air drag. Then you would need an accurate dyno chart to get a plot of horsepower versus RPM. Between the two charts, a better estimate could be developed.
Or go to Utah and find a level road with no wind. (Coquihalla has a few stretches but they aren't very flat) (and there are cops).
