For the last couple of months the oil temp and coolant temp guages have been stuck at the lowest temp settings, even after driving for over 45 mins. The cabin temp rises very slowly, only blowing warm air (not hot air) after 15 minutes at the HI temp setting on the climate control. Is this indicative of a stuck T-stat?

a stuck t-stat will result in the temp not climbing above 50-55C - normal temp is 88-92C

What is the CC? and how do you check channel 51?

But what it does is it tells u the temp of your coolant, its threw the climate control console, and if the coolant temp is low on that reading, then ur thermostat is stuck open like mine. If that reading is showing 85C or so, then the coolant is warm and your temp switch is bad.

Thanks. Does a stuck thermostat also prevent the oil temp guage from working?

yes my thermo is stuck and my oil doesnt get up to temp.
