I notice that every few days there's a thin film of oil on a small portion of the air filter box cover(towards the fender) and injector shroud( the plastic one ) .
On the injector cover its always at the spot closest to the fan, and only there.
Here's the rub........nothing on the hood, new oil fill cap, fairly new Michelin man hose, and all the other hoses are dry. I can't figure out where its coming from .
The engine is super tight.Doesn't leak from anywhere, and the valve cover gasket is fairly new.I took off the T-belt cover to check there, and its dry too.
There's not a whole bunch of oil, but its there.
Anyone else experience this ???
Also, is there anything I should know before I take off the valve cover for polishing ?
TIA

All the way by the air filter box ?
I got under the car with a good light and I can't find one thing thats moist.
I need to leave, but I'll take a pic of it when I get back and post it.
Thanks.
