Default Weird how people have different experiences...
I love my Sumitomos. Low noise for me, excellent in the rain. IMO, the best cheap tire you can buy.

Default Hey, can't you go with a 255/40/17?
It's a closer diameter. Rubbing issues? I think they'll fit.

Default Also consider :
The BFG G-force KDW. You know, the one with the funky tread blocks. I used to hear everyone say they where noisy, but reading the TR reviews on it, I've never seen such a wide variety of people absolutely love that tire more than anything. A tad bit more expensive though.

Default my car may be ghetto/slower, but it has nicer tires. Pay a little more for the Kumho Ecsta MX

Default A bit more pricey, but from what I've read, they look mint.
I have to buy Koni's and do some other maintenance. Might be able to afford them, though.
