Default Just saw your pic and...

... also appears to be a strange color on the cranckshaft 2# cil. Maybe he just assembled the wrong bearing caps?! If that's the problem it's an easy/cheap fix:
- Take the cranckshaft to a machine workshop and they will tell you what caps to order. If the service is done by professionals the cranckshaft will be as nice as a new one.
Don't desperate, it's not the end of the world. And think positive: at least know you can say to your friends that you know your engine interiorlly. Just a joke

Default Any RWD can put 1JZ,2JZ.it's common.

MB W124 126 W123,BMW E34 E36 E46,Volvo 940 740.
A lot of these models will end up with 1JZ,2JZ GTE motor. the motor is very very cheap, easy to find,a lot of modified parts. 1JZ GTE will cost you only $900-1000.Auto tranny will be $120.and they were running great.I don't think,it's rice.
in real life, those cars still rolling on the road.Long times ago,I've seen an S4(C4) came up with 1JZ-GTE 280HP the sad thing is Quattro will be disabled.

Default do you mention about regrind crankshaft...

with oversized rod bearing.I've also thought about that.my friend is not really recommend that.he said, the stock crankshaft will be hardened from the factory.when you regrind the surface off and assembled with the ovesized rod bearing.the durability is slightly dropped and so do mechanic.that's why I'm looking for the used crankshaft from AAR(2.3L 133HP) motor.

it's really not the rest of the world.Think positive:At least,I got one Portuguese guy to be my friend.and he's Soooooooo crazy S-car.hehehe.

I don't agree- if so the dealer wouldn't sell you any other bearings than the std's ones.

Default I've got AAR bottom end with $220.

Also checked the part no. from authorized dealer.
AAN and AAR bottom end would be the same.they 're using the same connecting rod,rod bearing, crankshaft. All i need to do is just swap to my AAN.but the piston dia. is different.I think,It supposed to be the best solution and cheap.anyway, I need to disassemble everything off and clean it up.what do you think?
