Hey Guys..well she has been running too good lately so I guess it was time for my next issue. It appears that the hot-side of my turbo is smoking at idle. I can smell it...I can see it right at the hot-side turbine housing....yet once I get moving it goes away..as far as I can tell. I havent noticed any significant oil loss so it must be a very slow burn. I have ordered the .08" Oil Restrictor from Javad at 034EFI to hope resolve this:
"The thrust bearing T3 center section only needs 10-15psi to lubricate effectively. Many motors produce oil pressure in excess of 70psi, often forcing oil past the shaft seals, causing smoking problems. An oil restrictor will drop pressure levels to a sane level, alleviating smoking problems. Recommended for most applications with oil pressure above 30-40psi. Features 1/8" npt male outlet, female inlet."
I hope this resolves the issue...pls...pls be something cheap
