Default UPDATE: Driving around today... the car's sterring wheels shimmy's left to right a little...

when drving down the street and then when i hit the brakes, the steering wheel does it a little more. Is it possible that new pads on warped rotors could be causing this? Also can old pads conform to a warped rotor somewhat to make it not shake. because before it didn't shake really at all. Well that i could notice anyways. i will prolly tomorrow take it all apart and redo the install. but some insight on my thoughts here would be helpful?

Default dude you should never install new pads on warped rotors. you should get new rotors

Don't try and turn the old ones either.

Default Your new pads are tighter to the rotor right now than the old pads were, so the warped...

rotor is bumping into the pads as the wheel goes around (Wumba wumba wumba) causing you to feel some shimmy in the steering wheel. You needed new rotors. If you do nothing, it will probably get better because the space between the pads and the rotors will increase a bit. However this decreases your effective braking response time and you STILL will have warped rotors which you will feel pulsing underfoot when you brake.

Change the rotors now while you only need to do them and not the pads (again) too.

i would say yes. you can try the new pads on the next set of rotors, but chances are they're toast
