Just a possibility...
check your spark plugs. My friends UrS had a loose spark plug, it sounded just like lifter noise. If not that, you probably have some internal engine problems. :-/

Good idea.
I guess it's time for a reminder for everyone anyway:
Check your plug torque every time you change your oil. The plugs tend to loosen up up time, and the eventually pop out, destroying the threads in the head.
