urs4 as ONLY car.
who here has their urs4 as their one and only daily driver car? ive got to get ONE car (instead of my 90 200 and my 96 prelude) and i would love to still have an audi...

OK if you don't mind driving rentals
I had my S6 as my only daily driver for a few months recently- always worried I would need to rent something. Though it's never left me stranded (well once when I had a crappy oil line installed, blew off and I spun the car in my own oil...) I do seem to have constant issues. Remember these cars are over 10 yrs old...

another view....
I've had mine since april of '99 pretty much daily driven. I've put over 120k miles on it and it's seen a tow truck twice. once when the fuel pump went out, and once when a PS line blew. I've just recently retired it from daily service; but it's been one of the most reliable cars I've ever had. I do keep up on the maintenance to an **** level

Mine is my only car. It's even harder over here in Australia because you get gouged for parts. I've had to get towed due to hoses exploding a few times, i've broken the accessories belt, blower motor, slave cylinder etc. But nothing really major (yet)

I get by with a little help from my friends
My urs4 is my only car and with the exception of the gearbox fix it has taken me to work every day for almost 2 years. The car is relatively easy to work on so most things can be fixed quickly.
When my gearbox broke I was lucky enough to get the use of a mate of mines S4 for 2 months which took me to work without any trouble.
If you are proactive with your maintenance you shouldn't have any trouble

I then eventually sold my other garage queen car since it just sat all year (I sort of found I would rather take the S6).
I was also itching to mod the S6 and my wife would go through the roof when ever I bought anything for it. Now the other car is gone and I'm payment free.
However my daily commute is only about 2 miles to the train station (covered parking). I use the car mostly for weekend trips up into CT.
But my wife still bitches whenever the UPS man shows up at the house.

Awesome daily driver - wouldn't have as an only car personally.
I daily drive mine, and it has rarely ever stranded me, but it's an old car. Once in a while in all fairness things just go wrong, and if you need to get to work you will be out of luck.
I will always have a second street legal car as long as I daily the URS4.
