Hi guys.

i'll be starting my coupe quattro 20vT project soon, possibly next week. However I want to source vagcom from ross-tech before I do.

Some questions.. Is the k wire used at all by vagcom? or just the L wire. The problem is my german S2 aby harness doesn't have the white diagnostic connector. I found the wires, one actually has a loop on it and the other is connected to a T10 connector. It's and easy fix..(almost tempted to wire it directly to a obd II connector). I am just curious if the K wire is necessary.

I am going to rely heavyly on the s2forum however when I do get the car started I am curious who is familar with vagcom on the s4s and s6s and will be able to tell me if my reading are correct. That is of course if you're familar with "vag-scope"?
