Sorry, the fuel pump issue won't die. (Its in remission but still there). I have just been talking with some local VW tuning shops (HPA Motorsports and Kinetic Motorsports) about what they do to fuel their crazy horsepower VR6 twin turbo VW's and Audi TT's. In some cases, nothing. In some cases, they add high-out put inline fuel pumps. In others, they use high output in-tank fuel pumps. The name Walbro came up. They have a high pressure 255 L/hr fuel pump (39.3 mm dia x 80 mm tall can) that is supposedly good for 530 turbo-charged HP (640 normally aspirated HP). I am wondering if anybody has any good or bad experiences with Walbro. At about US$120, the pump is WAY cheaper than any of the Bosch alternatives. Even cheaper that Pierburg.

I just bought a bosch fuel pump for our cars for $99 at the partsbin about a month ago. I believe their costs have increased since then. Theres one on e-bay right now for $99.
