water spitting out of vents and small pool in pass. footwell
did the self power wash yesterday, got pretty close with full pressure near the vents at bottem of windsheild. rained hard last night, car fogged up while driving, put defrost on high, sounded like somthing was in the vents, switched to dash vents, a few drops of water hit me in the face, there were a few frops on the dash and on the windsheild, and the blowing air felt moist. also a small amount of water in passenger foot well, ECU is dry though, just small amount at bottem crease. took off plastic sheet over heater and stuff, lots of water in there, where is the drain at.
only a small amount of water got in to the vents, but how, could it have caused any damage. ran high heat to try an evaporate the water till nothing came out, did not take long,
how did water get in to the vents, this is my primary concern, or is that normal when it is flooded?
thanks I tasted it, it WAS water Not coolant.

You may have already ascertained this from below, but
it's just water. You need to unclog the drain under the heater core. And pull the rubber stopper out of it while you're in there. Hold onto it if you want, but it impedes proper drainage. Pull the leaves and stuff out, rinse the area gently with your hose, and make sure all the gunk is out. If so, put you cowl back on, and you should be fine.
Shouldn't be any damage.
No biggie, just poor Audi engineering in this case.
Cheers,
