Yesterday I brought the car to replace the new tie rod end.I noticed some problem between the removal process. The tie rod was really hard to put off.So the mechanic had to use hammer hitting on the strut carrier for the tie rod end and noticed that the strut carrier was bent out by the hammer. finally,it had to be grinding for the sharp flange not to be hurt to the
tie rod end rubber boot.So I don't think this is the right way to remove the tie rod end.I've seen the authorized dealer had the special tools. But I don't know where to get that one.If anyone know or having some better removal please let me know.
Thx

since they are a couple bucks each I would change them too. I don't know the reason you are doing all this, but I guess you need to get new wheel aligment too.

I don't want to break my strut anymore.I'd think using the hammer hitting on that thin
metal. That's not the way fixing my car lol.
anyway,Yesterday I took off the tie rod end I have marked it before getting the new one on.
