Default What is the consensus on rear spring spacers, H&R sport & Bilstein S6 sedan?

I have read on the forums of using either the 13 or the 20mm. I though this was only needed on the Avant?

Default I used the 13mm on my B5A4 but went without on my C4S4

The C4 sedan chassis is ok without imho. There are a few shots of my car with the H&R/Bilstein combo in my picposter

Default it's a yard truck from work and ugly as sin.... and what is with the Jetta?

I bought it from the mill I work at. When the construction firm that built the mill signed the project over to the owners as being complete the Dodge came included in the package. My company already had a couple utility/yard trucks so they didn't want this beauty. I offered $500 as a joke and they took it

The truck is a 1 tonne 4x4 dually crew cab, dana 60 in the front and 80 in the rear. 24v cummins with the 4 spd auto. The truck is in tough shape, it has spent it's life as a service truck. The injection pump is shot, steering damper is broke, one dually fender is smashed, 1 part of rear windshield is smashed, no exhaust to speak of and it's DIRTY but..... I think it can be salvaged. The Cummins is 1000x easier to work on then the Powerstroke so I think that when I get the Dodge running I'll sell the Ford and likley walk away with $10k in the differance. Thats money I can spend on something else heh. God knows I have no trouble spending it and there is likely another silver German car out there somewhere I won't be able to say no to.

Default Funny enough, I spent the same on the Jetta :) .

That's stellar about the 3500 though... I'm actually pretty jealous, believe it or not. I'm not sure if I'm going to buy a motorhome or an RV trailer/fifth wheel (and truck) this spring for a wee little road trip around north america. If I found a dually for $500 though... I don't think the decision would be too hard .

The picked up the Jetta to swap a new motor (paid $400 w/ OBX headers) in and drive it for a bit... but someone made an offer on it already and I'm not sure if I'm going to be able to refuse, hehe.

Default I have them on my Avant

The rear is slightly higher than the front. If I have to do anything related to the rear susp i'll be taking them out.

If I put these on a sedan I would have removed them immediately.

Default My Eibach springs needed them to even out the front to rear

I went with the 13mm and the rear is still slightly lower than the front. 20mm might be too high in the rear though.

Default Opinions vary...

I have a 95 S6 Sedan that I want to put the Bilstein/H&R setup in and was wondering the same thing. I'm guessing that most of you wouldn't put the spacers in the sedan?
