Default what are my fueling/software options for the GT3701?

after some research im pretty sure that ill go with the GT3701 kit from 034 Motorsport (link below) from the numerous good reports ive read on it. the next things id like to sort out are the best options for fueling and software. so far im thinking of going with the RS2 replica injectors and a 5 bar FPR from 034. is there anything to be worried about going with the "replica" injectors? any first hand problems vs. the OEM's? as for the software im totally lost... with my A6 it was easy to do because there were really only 2 options for turbos... stock K03's or RS4 K04's. period. anyway, id love to hear recommendations on what software people are running successfully with the GT3701. also, could you give me prices for the software as well it would be much appreciated. TIA for any help/input.

http://www.034motorsport.com/product_info.php?cPath=21_102&products_id=261</a

Default having hours of dyno time with rs2 software injectors and a 3071 i will tell you this

you will be UNSAFELY lean. But certain people dont like to listen to this. We even have runs with a 4bar vs the 5bar the 5bar made it a little safer but lets just say the a/f rations were in the 14's at peak boost. If you limit yourself to lower less agressive boost you might not melt the motor down. You can believe the line of BS you will be fed but ill be happy to show you the a/f levels from the dyno @ KTR in ayer mass.

If you do decide to run that ragged edge get whoever sells you the goods signature on a piece of paper stating that they said its safe.

Default I went through the same ordeal... bottom line? Their is no "off the shelf" solution for 3071, or,,,

you could, as some on this forum, run a 2871 ON RS2 S/W and enjoy the benefits of a quicker spooling turbo.

As for the 3071 it's go to be all custom. And when it comes to that the only name that comes to mind is Tony at EPL. Are you on the east coast? Of course if you like a rich tune you could do a MRC chip. He claims to have one for this application, but with no proven data sheets,... well do you wanna be the test mule?

Default Exactly right.

That's why going with anything beyond RS2 is a crap-shoot, UNLESS you have a pocketful of money to address any issues that come up.

Germantoy is right - don't listen to marketing hype, or some guy that knows some guy. If you're looking for an off-the-shelf solution, RS2 is as far as you can go. Further on, you're looking at a custom tune.

And if I were going with a great, big GT turbo, I'd drive all the way across the country and have Tony at EPL tune it for me. No damn way I'd settle for off-the-shelf, unless I have $$$$$$$ to spend on fixing a melted 2.2 20vT.

Default Anybody got compressor maps of RS2 vs. GT2871 vs. GT3071?

Running a GT2871 on RS2 software sounds less than ideal--I'd love to see such a car in person.

Default Nope.

I am learning through the mistakes of others.

I am going RS2, and not going any further. Period.
