Default What's the best way to bring parts back from Europe?

I'm going to be out in Europe for 2 weeks in late October/early November.. how exactly would I bring parts back? I can't see bringing 3 RS2 EM's with me on the plane.. I don't know how shipping works on parts like these, any BTDT's?

I'm also not going to have much time to screw around with it (I'll be on my honeymoon), so that's a factor as well. Ideally I'd like to have the parts shipped to my hotel in Germany a few days before I get there and then... ship them to the States? or something like that?

Given limited time, I imagine you'll want to have someone else take care of the shipping for you, except for small parts that might fit in your luggage. Either pay the seller to take care of shiping, or find an agent.

I'll take an RS2 EM. :^)

Default Woohoo! Oktoberfest Honeymoon! That'll be fun, Jamie. My sis will be there then w/ her hub, too.

Congrats in advance. I'll take an RS2 unit if you find a way to get it back. My experience with shipping from DE has been atrocious, so I wouldn't be much help to you. I can ask around, though. Maybe a few contacts later... Don't know if taking it on the plane(checked, of course), would be a nightmare or not.

Not without excess baggage charges at those weights.

Default You DO realize that Oktoberfest is actually in Sept., right?

Well, mostly in September it does end on Oct 3.

http://www.oktoberfest.de/en/02/content/faq1/</a

Anyone have a rough number as to what an RS2 EM weighs?
