Default I'm pretty sure it is. I recall him saying this before, almost verbatim. See way above

Default Here is a previous post from Hap, based on an "RS2 MAF" search

It was pretty easy to find.<ul><li><a href="https://forums.audiworld.com/s4s6/msgs/110520.phtml">https://forums.audiworld.com/s4s6/msgs/110520.phtml</a</li></ul>

Default My bad

Search for "RS2 MAF" = 16 pages. Easy to find if you already know who posted it and read the original post. Not so easy if you have to scan all posts on all 16 pages and have no previous knowledge.

RS2 = 951 MAF, 928 MAF is larger. Also in the archives, "RS2 MAF" search.

From what I gather..the 928 MAF is purely for "Wire Suck" prevention then anything else

Default No worries the AW search pretty much sucks

In my opinion I like questions being re-asked as things change, it keeps the forum alive, and keeps our knowledge fresh.

What sort of HP/CFM levels does the "wire suck" issue start occuring at?

Default I did find this post of Haps in the archives where he states around 450hp (doesn't state whp though)

<i>"At somewhere around 450hp the airflow through an RS2/stock MAF will pull out the hot wire coil and suck it through the turbo. That's why I went with the much larger 928 S4 MAF which slows down the same volume of airflow going through the MAF."</i><ul><li><a href="https://forums.audiworld.com/s4s6/msgs/30331.phtml">https://forums.audiworld.com/s4s6/msgs/30331.phtml</a</li></ul>
