any brand of glass better than others. long story short, a construction worker dropped a screwdriver on my parked car while I was eating. It was dropped from like 15ft up and caused a sizeable crack in my windshield....i'm mad.

Don't settle for anything other than OEM Sigla or Sekurit. Its the only way.
There are others but they are NOT as good. (distortions). If it was your ticket, then maybe the less expensive one MIGHT do. On the construction companies insurance only OEM.
The OEM ones were relatively cheap (under $300 not installed) not too long ago.
Beware of the pressure plastic fix. Just say no.

Suprisingly the OEM Audi glass is not that expensive.
I think it was about $150.00 or less. The one in my 2001 F-250 was about $700.00, I know its bigger but jeeze. I feel for ya though, cracked windshields are the story of my life. =(

OEM glass is too soft. Ask for PPG.
My current windshield (although it needs replacement) is a PPG. I had heard rumors in the past that this was the best glass to get. Now I know why. OEM quality, and harder (less prone to pitting) than the german brands.
Just my $0.02 worth.

the 94 S4
has a mast antenna on the left rear fender and there is also an antenna in the rear glass ( the first three rows or so of the defrosters). I dunno if they are both am/fm or if one is am, one is fm...
