Will left foot breaking hurt the quattro drivetrain?

where you want to keep the power going but just shed a little speed or add a little weight to the front end. Brushing the brakes with your left foot while the right one stays steady on the gas is nice. Use gently and judiciously.

Heel-toe it into the turn so you're in the correct gear, then left-foot brake hard while you're on the gas hard with the right foot to keep the turbo spooled through the turn. Let the brake up before the apex and you'll shoot out of the turn like a maniac.
It's scary when you're actually doing it at 80 mph, so I only use it for amusement at low speeds so far. I did it in moderation (not hardcore full on the gas) at the track.

to use your left foot to brake just so you could have a really hard time stopping the car with the throttle wide open just so the turbo would stay spooled up so you could exit the corner a hair faster. And you would be going to slow through the corner if you were able to give it full throttle on exit IMO.
