Will this turbo bolt up to our cars?
Its a KKK K26 so I imagine it will bolt right up or am I wrong? Is there any increase in performance? Your help is appreciated. TIA<ul><li><a href="http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=33742&item =2439881016">KKK K26</a></li></ul>

It might bolt up but I seriously doubt that it is an "upgrade" for the S-cars. It is a "direct..
replacement for a 5000 turbo". What does that tell you?
I couldn't see the specs on even the enlarged version of the name/serial plate. Based on information from Ned Richie (Intended Acceleration) at:
http://www.audifans.com/pipermail/s-car-list/2003-October/020807.html
A K26 2664 CA 6.95 is the spec for a 100/200/5000 turbo where K26 is the turbine housing or hot side designation, the "2664" is the compressor wheel spec where the "26" in "2664" is 26 tenths of an inch (x's 2.54 = 66 mm) equals the diameter of the exducer and the "64" is the ratio of the inducer diameter to the exducer diameter, i.e. the inducer diameter is 64% of the exducer diameter. The RS2 designation is K24 2672 GGC 6.12. Ned likes K26 3072 GD 8.11 or K26 3472 HHB 10.91. I doubt that this ebay turbo comes close to these specs as an "upgrade" for our cars (a Rabbit? - yeh, maybe).
Check out the URL.
