Yesterday I discovered that both my windshield and headlight washers don't work anymore.
I STFA and found that these have different pumps. I doubt that each pump failed at the same time (both were working before), so I can pretty much rule that out.
Someone mentioned in a previous post that it could be a blown fuse. Well, I looked on the fuse box and I didn't see anything about windshield or headlight washers.
Oh, and there is plenty of fluid in the resovoir. And it's not cold enough here in Seattle to have frozen.
Anyone have any other ideas?

depress the switch and listen to hear the pump come on, if it doesn't, get out your test light. that's a good place to start.

I'd first check with a voltmeter whether there is voltage at the pump harness when the stalk is pulled. Assuming there is not, I'd get out the wiring diagrams and see what's in between the stalk and the pump, and the battery (or ground) and the stalk.
I had a busted windshield hose and still have a leaky headlight hose, so it's not totally outside the realm of possibility that it could simply be two fluid leaks.

have a friend with you, take a test touch it to the positive wire of the pump and have your friend depress the washer switch. if the light lights up, it's not a fuse, if it doesn't light up, you're not getting power to the pump, start at the fuses and go from there. I will check my cd to see where the relay is.
