Default Wiper arm replacement

I am having some issues finding someone that will sell a replacement wiper arm outside of the stealer. Every site listed in the FAQ that sells new parts does not have it listed and I am relunctant to purchase a used as I fear it will do the same thing as my current; list at highway speeds.

Any suggestions?

I think there are some old wiper arm fixes at S-cars.org or Charlie Smith's Audi pages.

I should clarify - it does not wipe well even at slow speeds w/ new blades

The DIY I am refering to explains how to add spring tension to the arm (and hold it down better)

I bought new OEM ones online and I don't recall them being too expensive.

Default Have you tried bending the arm a little with force? The smallest angle change of the wiper

arm will produce significant results. When I bought my car, my wiper was so bad that it barely made contact with the windshield. I bent mine ever so slightly using some brute force and it has been good ever since.

Default STFA found me this post by Hap Maquire using his BFP's to bend some more tension into the wiper arm

spring. BFP's being, well, you know, really big pliers.<ul><li><a href="https://forums.audiworld.com/s4s6/msgs/47398.phtml">Click for more info</a></li></ul>

Default I got the same situation.the spring tension is weak.

I also tried to bend the wiper arm. That helps
a bit.I'm gonna get the used one.

I think newer models run the same arm if you wanna check your junk yard for an A4 arm
