If you are experiencing poor wiper performance it could be the glass. I discovered it by accident, but I clean my windshield with a RAZOR BLADE about twice a year. Doing so removes a brown film deposit that no solvent or cleanng material seems to touch and the wipers work better.

Default I just ordered the driver's side wiper arm at my local stealer. $61.00 CAD

Should come in tomorrow.

Now what are your suggestions for wiper blades? I have used the cheap Costco "Michelin" ones, but I am not extatic about their performance...
