Even if it's not a miracle, it's cheaper than having my seat faces reupholstered.
The driver's seat has suffered under previous ownership, and I think the time has come for some action.
If I can get the armrest off, I can provide them a color sample to match. I might also convince them that platinum is a good bulk color to have on hand, because I have seen quite a few C4 cars with platinum interiors.

Fix dat seat, yo...

I have some fairly serious seat bolster damage. As in, all the finish is off. (Came that way, unfortunately.)
If the color match was good (Ecru, I assume), then I'm all for sending them the armrest so they can color-match to platinum.
I can Flexifill to fix the bolster, then use their color-match finish coat to get to the proper color on the bolster. And if the color is slightly different from the rest of the seat, I don't care much. After all, I'm not looking at the seat while I'm driving. And the passenger won't see the difference if I'm sitting in the seat.

I completly re-dyed a BMW635 interior. This included front and back seats along with doors etc. It is a lot of work.
I would recommend the following:
Snip off a small amount of leather from underside of seat. Now, this leather will most likely be a bit darker because it has not be in direct sunlight. Send sample to company( I used leatherique).
Remove seat from car.
You can try to apply dye with seat in car with a brush. This would be the fastest method. You can fill cracks with their crack filler. I would recommend this firt. The dye will act similarly to paint on a wall in that you will never be able to 100% match the color. The only way is to paint the whole wall.
My suggestion is to localize your work. If you can live with any small difference in color then do so. If not, you will have to strip entire seat and much more work is involved.

...tell us how many North American UrS cars came in cloth.
Now, since the reupholstery costs would be upwards of $2k, tell us how turning leather into cloth is a great, and economical, idea.
Oh, sorry. It was just a smart @$$ comment from a guy who doesn't have to consider such things
My bad.

If the color is very slightly off, then I can do just the driver's seat (which has all the damage, really).
If it's really different, I can do the front seats only.
Even then, I'll only do the faces, not the whole seat.
I'd like to do only the bolsters, if possible, but will do more if I have to.
