Default wow, got wierd problem, even a master tech audi mechanic hasn't seen this.

Every time i go to lock the doors with the remote, the alarm ativates (beeps), but the doors stay unlocked. I hit the button again, doors lock, alarm deactivates. Also, once locked, they will unlock themselves within ~30 minutes, and activate the alarm. So i come out, open the door (which is unlocked) and the alarm goes off. The only way to get into the car w/o the alarm going off is the have the doors unlocked and turn the key in the door to the unlock position, which turns off the alarm. I cannot lock the car with the key, the lock will go down on the one door, but them immedietly come back up. The electronic lock in the car works opposite. I hit the bottom part (to lock) and the doors unlock), i hit the top part to lock. Everything seems to working backwards!!! Any clue?? I NEED HELP!!

Default Then he hasn't been around S-cars long enough. Odd as it may sound, this sort of thing.....

happens when the battery is dieing (like you have one dead cell). The solution is typically a new battery (get your radio code first). A short term fix is to just disconnect the existing battery for 10 minutes to reset everything. However, if the battery is dieing then it will just keep happening until you replace the battery. The sunroof will also start acting weird under the same conditions.

Default Wow!, I'll try that

he told that he's seen many problems with the pump that does the thing where you can close the windows and such after the car is shut off (from the outside) and that can make the windows and moonroof open and close at odd times, but i don't have that. We did just check to make sure the battery wasn't leaking on the pump or anything, which it wasn't. I guess I'll go out, take back out the seat and try that.

Default I had this too. Turned out to be the relay for the central locking was bad, also

sometimes when you push on the rear seat near the vac pump (behind passenger), you can hear it activate. Weird.
