Default I wouldn't mind one of those 3.6l VR6's from a VW Passat/etc.

No replacement for displacement. FSI with the lean burn mode turned on would be sweet too.

Default This is a Time Attack car. Radiator hasn't been a problem for us yet.

We run typical 20-30min sessions with this setup w/o problems cooling.

Default We put down 647whp on last years 12v. We're quite a bit north of that now.... ;)

The 12v is a decent platform, but light years behind the 24v in technology and flow.

With the variable cam system on the 24v alone we're getting _huge_ gains down low, and the motor flows far more up top as well.

R32 Head on a 2.8l bottom end. So yes, a very good 24v motor!

Default Glad to hear you're not having any cooling issues. Big oil cooler?

I can't tell if that's an oil cooler on the LF corner. The small black cooler is P/S correct?

A nice big oil cooler really helped with my Corrado. It used to run really hot at the track even after I replaced everything in the cooling system w/ new. The oil cooler cut track oil temps by 20-30 degrees and kept my water temp steady.
