Default Your thoughts would be appreciated - pending coil swap (OEM vs High Output)

As a recap for those bnot following:
I have a failing coil(s):
Swapped the entire package with my wifes avant - stumble disapears - hers seems to run a bit better but the hesitation is still there.
Did a diagnostic as suggested with plug gap tester - 5 is the failing though 4 seems suspect as well. So I'm inclined to do them all.
I'm very hesistant to go the straight 1.8 coil solution as I live in Houston Texas - Crazy hot and humid! I know they are cheep but I love these cars for their reliability and comfort - I'm not interested in driving with a supply of spares at all times. I'd rather do it overkill and only once.
So it's the highout put vs. the OEM.
Cost OEM ='s $550 (and the POS possibility -but both are less than 30,000 miles).
Highout put - $650 +80 if you want the bracket...
Thoughts???

I'd stick with OEM replacements.

Default Why?

If that's the case, I'd save money and only replace those that are bad.

Default They work as intended, and last ~100,000 miles.

Amortize the cost of OEM coils over another 100,000 miles and it's a no brainer.

yep - don't want to have to deal with another one in 500 miles... or always wondering.

How do they differ from stock AAN units?

Default There's also the modified coils of "Ignition Solutions" to consider...

Another "High Output" solution... Would require the 1.8T harness of course...

http://www.ignitionsolutions.com</a
