Hello Q4 e-tron friends. Does your myAudi app implementation give you cabin temperature on your phone? Is there are data field which shows you what your actual temp is and not the HVAC temp? Obviously with the original e-tron, we do not have this ability.

The phone app has been by far the worst part of the E-Tron experience for me. Laggy, buggy and often unintuitive, and that's not even mentioning the Audi MMI system in the car! Shocking.

From what I've clocked, you can set the temp you want from your phone, but the app doesn't show you what the actual temp is inside the car at that moment. This was the same with the old e-tron, and it's the same story with your Q4 e-tron.

Yes, I understand the OG e-tron. I am just trying to get a feel for where the software is going. Obviously the Q4 has newer next gen software. I was hoping for a more robust myAudi app.

No JUST the OPPOSITE. I think one problem is that Audi is having to get MyAudi to work with so many software versions, platforms, and formats. When I got my 2019 quattro in Nov 2019, by mid-2020 MyAudi seemed to be working reasonably well. I had mainly been having connectivity issues. However, Audi did a big update to bring the Q4 etron on line and the MyAudi for my car was knocked out of commission for MONTHS.

Usually, the app lets you check out all sorts of bits about your car, like the climate control settings and that. But I've clocked from other drivers that they're having a bit of a mare with the app when it updates. Sounds like it can be a bit hit and miss, so you're not the only one scratching your head over it.

Personally, the only problems I’m experiencing with the app is due to our lousy cellular strength near our home. I wish Audi would simply add the capability to employ my home’s wifi when available and when cellular is not…
