Default Q6 e-tron reviews

A pretty depressing review of the Q6 e-tron from Kris Rifa

Not sure I saw it as pretty depressing but he has a few good points IMO: it's very possible the Q6 will be more expensive than the Q8 when discounts on the latter are taken into account. For people that are more focusing on luxury and size, the Q8 remains a great option. For anyone that wants the latest tech, there is no question, the Q6 is the way to go.

I was hoping the exterior dimensions of the Q6 would be smaller than the Q8.....the Q8 is bigger than I need. According to the video, the exteriors are about the same, while the interior Q6 is smaller! Not the result I thought the PPE platform would bring.

I was not expecting the luxury hit.

I wanted the car to be a smaller Q8 not a larger Q4.

I keep getting Q4 e-tron's when I turn my e-tron in for service. It is not a great car coming from the e-tron.

What I really want is a Q-8 e-tron built on the PPE with the charging and battery.

I might end up in a Macan, or a slightly used Q8 e-tron.

Great quote...I feel the same. I want all the bells and whistles that normally come with the flagship but in a smaller package. I'm willing to pay close (or same) price as the flagship if it has same level of tech and luxury.

I'm not giving up on the Q6 (SQ6 for me)....I doubt it will feel cheap but we'll have to see.

Good info......I'm about to sign a new lease on a 24 Q8, and looks like I made the right choice in not waiting for the Q6.

I think you will be happy with your choice. The Q8 is a revised car with 4 years experience behind it. I very much like the changes is range, handling, and response Audi made. I'm sure the Q6 etron will have several birthing issues, coming on Audi's first PPE platform. To me, the fact that the Q6 has the same exterior dimensions as the Q8 is a disappointment.

I LOVE my '19 e-tron but I just won't buy another car with an MMI as it exists in the current e-tron. It looks like the PPE based Q8 is scheduled for '26. That might be my new goal. There is really no reason my current '19 should not last until then.

The 2019 has an earlier version of the MMI hardware and does not run the latest OS. Still, I have not noticed a big difference in the MMI's.

How are you concluding the exteriors are about the same?

Video says Q6 is ~188" (4.77 meters) long while Q8 is ~194" (4.92 meters) long.

That makes a difference in my garage.
