Does that work in the Q8?

Yes. Technically Oil temp is supposed to be 190+ or so before using Sport mode but many people don’t bother with that...

Yes Sport mode does disable.

Was shutting it off each time because I felt it made me lurch and wonder if I had been rear-ended. 1500 miles in and I now leave it on. Most of the time works great. I have just developed a better feel for how to engage and disengage. I think I would lift off the brake slightly and it would lurch a bit. Now I just commit fully to the stop without the slight inching forward habit I had developed over a few decades.
