Some subtle changes. MMI now has an available triple split screen and there is a black start/ stop button. And yes you can still disable auto stop/ start. From the split screens you can change radio stations, select last destinations, etc.
What do mean by "And yes you can still disable auto stop/ start." ?? Do you mean you can turn it on and off by pushing the button on the MMI? I wish there was a way to disable/ eliminate the function completely!!!!

Yes, still the same MMI button. Some people thought it would be gone for 21.
The 2021 BMW X5 cannot be turned off at all for stop/start! The dealer tried to tell me it was federally mandated!
Sorry, I won't believe the dealer until I see it on my own eyes. If that were the case, the Audi 2021 would also not have this possibility. Moreover, I have not found any information on this topic in the BMW X5 forums.

Watch some of the YouTube videos on the new X5. They will absolutely confirm it. Now that is in the U.S. I have no idea about Poland or Europe.

I have seen it on my own eyes . You are right BigBoy. 2021 X5 models with 48V Mild Hybrid technology have no start/stop button. There is the blank spot instead of physical start/stop button.
