I'm trying to find a spare alternator in case mine takes a dump as my car is tuned now. The part number for the alternator from previous posts were 4N0903028P. Now every thing that pops up when I search for that part number is that it was replaced by 4N1903028. Nothing shows which car that part number fits. Was wondering if anyone could verify this was the new alternator number?
Looks to me like 4N1903028 is the right part number as of now, but the supersessions aren't listed on the audi site, but CarProg2 shows the date as 01/09/2023, which I assume is Sept. 1st, 2023, not Jan. 9th as the site isn't run w U.S. date standard? @retom ?

Based on the latest data from ETKA there are 2 new BSG numbers: 4N1903028A and 4N1903028X. I don't think that there is a variant for TDI. All variants of BSG are dedicated to the cars with PR 9G8 which is valid for both engine variants TDI and TFSI.
I found one at a dealership near by for 650 including tax and shipping. Not sure if I should jump on it or not. The part number at that dealer does not show an A/X though.
