Hi All,

I had a 2017 R8 with the virtual cockpit and never had any problems. 1800 miles into my ownership with the SQ8 and the cockpit is basically spazzing out.

I get these lines on the screen for 5-10 minutes into my drive and it returns back to normal. Anyone else have these issues ?

Car is at the dealership now but they said they need to consult with Audi since it is throwing no error codes. Of course it won't through error codes cause the screen is going out and not mechanical!

They think it is software related. I think it is a bad screen.

Thank you for posting and please keep us updated on the final diagnosis and resolution. Not what I wanted to hear - or see - approximately two months before delivery of my 2021 SQ8.

Audi has ordered me a new instrument cluster.

ETA is 7-10 business days. What a bummer.

Yes, a bit of a bummer - BUT - it is a new instrument cluster and better than some hack-job repair that does not rectify the problem.
