I have the 2020 SQ8 with the regular B&O system. Its far better than the Burmester in my 992 and Burmester in my wife's E350. Its far better than the B&O that came in my 2018 Raptor. I decided to try a mod that the F150 guys do to their B&O subwoofers (I did it on my Raptor) to increase the bass output and clarity.
Removal of the stock enclosure is simple - unclip the power/speaker harness and then use long extensions to undo 5 10mm nuts. Pull enclosure out
Simply cover every square inch of the sub enclosure with dynamat or equivalent. Cut approximate strips/sections to cover all the areas of the enclosure with care to knead the material onto the enclosure surface - don't leave any air pockets. Some folks use rollers - I couldn't find mine so I just used my fingers. Cover every side of the sub - top, bottom, sides, ends, etc.
Place enclosure back - it weighs twice as much as before now. Use some Dynamat on the inside of your 10mm socket to keep the nuts from falling.
Plug back in and enjoy!
Subjectively to me the car now feels like it as a strong 10"/12" sub. It sounds 20% louder to me than before, but also cleaner.
You can feel it in your chest
Excellent! Might be something worth doing alright.
I was looking into dynamat and trying to figure out where to put it to quiet down the road noise, seems like good stuff if you can get it in the right places.

door panels around the door speakers is always another good application.
