I cannot answer for other brands but Optimum No Rinse (following dilution guidelines) is harmless to driveway, lawn and gardens. In fact, when I'm finished, I dump my two 4 gallon buckets in our flower beds with nil effect other than to water my wife's thirsty perennials.

Anyone wash their engine well yet? I know with more current cars you usually have to cover certain pieces of electronics when washing the engine but haven't seen anyone list those areas on the q8 that need covering.

Not me either....despite plenty of videos out there showing how other do it, especially where people seem almost reckless with the hose. Realistically, you figure these things are engineered to have to elements splash up .....but I suppose I am a bit of a chicken..
