Completed by brake pads on my 2021 SQ8 about one month ago. I went with the semi metallic pads from Brake Performance. My rotors were "just at" or barely above the specs listed for wear. I just really wanted to try running these new pads as the rotors were smooth with no stopping issues on my worn pads. I think I went all the way down to 2/32nds prior to changing. Anyway, these are SO GRIPPY and stop me way faster. I'd put them on again in a heartbeat. Next time when I do have to go new rotors, I'll try the ceramic however. Just due to dust. I hear they wear the rotors down a bit quicker is the reason I did not try them this time and where my current rotors are. Anyway, for about $450 with labor, all 4 pads are done and working GREAT! I'll report back if any changes occur, but this has been a nice gamble for me. I figure I saved about $4500 vs going to the dealer in Salt Lake. :-) I'm good with that!
