Yeah, at least according to ThomasWShea (from last June).

3. Following 2, omitting 2024 MY does NOT indicate BSG is fixed, may highly just mean no available TSB currently….

OK, I am no TSB expert. Please correct me if anyone. And I would love to be pointed out that I am wrong.

The better question is why 2024 models would be included in version 9 but not version 10? The timing of the TSBs is critical here. I believe it's b/c Audi thought the latest PN may not have fixed the issue in V9, but by V10 they noticed that the latest PN does fix the issue so they removed 2024.

If so, it would be my best day for months!

We can dream a recall is on the way?

Also, people, please report here if your dealership allows you to proactively replace old BSG PN with this new BSG PN. I will do the same around this May or June.

It probably won't be a recall, but I'm not waiting. If we start to see proof the new PN fixes this issue, I'm paying the $2000 (parts and labour) to be done with this headache.

Any parts whiz can see if this part number is the most updated part for the BSG 4N1-903-028-B that is supposedly the part # for the new BSG being installed on my car

I forget what the B means, but that's the only part that i'm unsure of. The rest looks to be up to date.

Retom mentioned the (B) is for the RSQ8. (A) is for the Q8.

If this new part number is 100% sure fix, I'm with you on taking it in and just paying to get it replaced. I have my replacement sitting in my closet.
